With Kite Thong, one person can rig a kite for super light wind conditions in a fraction of the time it used to take two people to rig with floss and tape. They allow the user to motor above idle speed with kites deployed. Although more difficult to rig, the 4 Leg Kite Thong eliminates instability that exists with other techniques.

We recommend:
-tying the balloon down to the spars where they meet in the center of the kite as usual
-center the balloon on the kite so that as the Kite Thong is tightened down, the balloon affects all quadrants of the kite equally (the nipple of the balloon should be centered in the wax line of the Kite Thong)

Installation Instructions
First, install a bridle on your hook of choice by threading the barb of the hook through the plastic on eye of the bridle.
Then, holding the hooked bridle in your right hand, between your thumb and index finger with the hook opening up, pinch the bridle to force the legs together and the points outward.
Grab a bait with your left hand. Cradle the bait with thumb on the outside, fingers on the inside, and the fish laying on your palm.
Puncture the outside, or thumb-side, of the bait first. Hold the point in with your left thumb.
Using your right hand, pull the other leg of the bridle over the fishes back. Gently help the
point into the bait fish.
Nothing can bite if the bait is in your hand. Throw it in the water.
This technique works anywhere on a bait fish's body.
